                                                      2010 SERVICE FAIR - AUGUST 27 - 28, 2010

Dear Current and Incoming Lt. Governors,

Attached is information on the 2010 Service Fair

We would appreciate you helping in getting the word out to the clubs in your division who may be interested in sharing their best
service or fund-raising project with the rest of the District.

Please note that we need to have their application back to the District Office by Friday, August 13th so that Governor-elect Frank
can reserve them a space.

Thanks for your help with this and we will see you all in Spokane!

A MESSAGE FROM LT. GOV. RON

Hi All

Just a quick update and again forwarding PNW Registration Info to ensure all are aware of our upcoming PNW District Convention
in Spokane.

Firstly, I appologize as have been absent for the last three weeks, thus not much forwarded out to you which could be a blessing
in disguise.  I attended the International convention in Vegas which was very informative and then on return, was on our annual
Pulling Together Canoe Journey for the last 10 days which is a program our club supports that involves travelling with aboriginal
and other youth in canoes.  Four members of the Abbotsford Kiwanis Club travelled on this Canoe Journey.

Relative to the PNW District Convention, please note that DELEGATES must be elected not less than 30 days prior to the
convention.  As a result, please ensure that your delegates and alternate delgates are elected if not already done so and PNW HQ
are informed accordingly.  Also, please ensure the secondary registration sheet is completed that pretains to ATTENDEE RIBBONS.

My current plans are to visit all Clubs in Division 18 during August to introduce our new Incoming Lt Governor Barry Dodd who
will be assuming the position Oct 1/2010.  If any clubs have a relaxed summer meeting schedule, would appreciate if you could let
me know so we can plan our visits around those dates.

Unfortunately, when compacting my email files, my computer dumped all received emails for the month of June and 1st part of
July.  If any members have forwarded emails to me and not received a reply, please resend the original email.

Hope this finds you all well and enjoying the summer.

Cheers,

Ron

Ron Currie
Lt Governor,
Division  18.
